Prof. Toshihiko Kinoshita, a specialist from Japan on the international economy (especially the Asian economy), international finance, international business management, project management and international development, is visiting Sri Lanka next week and due to make presentations on “Lessons and outlook learned from economic development of Japan and Asia”.
Organised by the Japan-Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association (JASTECA), the seminar series will be held on 27-28 August at the Galadari Hotel.
The visiting professor has served the Export-Import Bank of Japan (Japan Bank for International Cooperation) in various capacities in Japan and outside for over three decades. After retirement from the Bank in 1996, he had served as Advisor in charge of Asian countries for various private and public institutions. He is currently a Special Researcher, Industrial Management Institute, Waseda University as well as a Lecturer, Graduate School, Osaka University.
