Professor Lalith Gamage was recently appointed Chairman of the Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies. He is currently President / CEO and one of the founder members of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), a leading institute for IT, Business Management and Electronic Engineering in the country.
He is also an Adjunct Professor for Curtin University, Australia and Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He obtained his BSc Engineering (Hons) from the University of Moratuwa, MSc in Information Technology from De Montfort University, Leicester, U. K. and PhD in Computer Vision from the University of British Columbia Vancouver, Canada.
Professor Gamage's remarkable academic and career achievements revolve around key aspects of the IT industry in Sri Lanka, and he has published numerous journals and research articles concerning IT and Electronic Engineering. |
