'Nalanda MOTOcross', the only motorcross event organized around Colombo suburbs was held last Sunday (17) at Maharagama, Navinna motor track. More than 65 riders including some Indian riders under 18 made the event colourful and vibrant.

The Mayor of Maharagama town council Mrs. Kanthi Kodkara was the chief guest of the event. Two deputy principals, the master in charge of sports of Nalanda College, Mr. Ravi Ahangama, the President of Junior Old Boys Association (NJOBA) and Mr. Sanjaya Fernando, the Secretary of NJOBA were also present.
