The seasonal Lite Soul Funk Sunday at the Park Street Mews comes alive this Sunday , 12th December
Soul Funk Sunday is the only place in Colombo where the cobbled street now festooned with fairy lights and yuletide décor becomes an outdoor lounge cum music venue for all funky people to chill out with family, meet up with friends and enjoy food and beverage on a perfect balmy Sunday afternoon going into late evening.
Resident DJ Tareeq after completing one year of this project has been as usual digging in deep to unearth some of the best and rarest funk, soul and ol’skool classics –all on vinyl records and symbolic of the era. DJ Tareeq will be taking the event a bit up tempo because joining him will be Guest percussionist, SAMAN LENIN.
The menu on this day will be all street food ranging from Satays to Shawarma, Potato Fries and Wedges together with the a la carte menu too should anyone want to tuck into something more substantial! |
