December 2010 quarter group gross revenue for Sri Lanka's Royal Ceramics was Rs. 1.8 billion while the group's after tax net profit for the same quarter was Rs. 412.8 million. This represented a 20% increase for the former and a 12% increase for the later year-on-year.
Additionally, the group's cumulative gross revenue for the nine months ended December 31, 2010, was Rs. 4.7 billion, a year-on-year growth of 36%, while group cumulative after tax next profit during the same period was Rs. 1.0 billion, an increase of 59%; according to the company's just released financials. Royal Ceramics was the first to release its financials for the current earnings season.
Meanwhile, according to its financials, the group's other operating income also included profits from the sale of shares to the tune of Rs. 185 million for 2010. Additionally, financials showed that sales of tiles to external customers amounted to Rs. 4.2 billion for the nine months ended December 31, 2010, while sales of sanitary-ware for the same period was Rs. 431.5 million. |
