The crunch time has arrived. With only one more count to go all contestants are now pondering as to how they should play their last cards to their advantage.
However in the All Island Contest Royal’s Ramith Rambukwella with 13,952 votes to his credit has positioned himself in an unassailable perch and is almost assured of walking down the isle at the BMICH at the grand finale amidst a round of applause to take his award.
In that category, Thurstan’s Supun Navaratne and Kandy boy Hemal Munaweera looks the next likely cricketers to join Rambukwella on that day.
In the Emerging Category the two Royalists – Kavindu Ashan Perera and Charitha Ruchiranga are still looking for their rightful place with only a few votes parting them.
In the International Contest Gateway’s Dhananjana Seneviratne also has almost booked his place at the top with Lyceum’s Gavitha Wickremasinghe taking the second place.
