Oral submissions by Prosecution on Sep. 9

Oral submissions by the Prosecution in the ‘White Flag’ case against former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka, in the High Court Trial-at-Bar, have been fixed for September 9.

The case was taken up this week when corrections were made in the previous proceedings.
Defence Counsel requested that Mr. Fonseka be provided a fan in his prison cell and the request was granted.

The Trial-at-Bar consists of Judges Deepali Wijesundara (President), W.T. M. P.B. Warawewa and M.S Razeen.
