Italy, one of the top tourist attractions in Europe, and Malaysia, a famous Asian tourist and shopping paradise were the destinations that top dealers of Asian Paints toured this year under the company’s all-expenses paid annual trip scheme.
The India-headquartered decorative coatings giant took 18 ‘Privilege Club’ members on a seven day tour to Italy and a group of 95 top dealers to Kuala Lampur and Genting in Malaysia, the company said.
Privilege Club members experienced a sightseeing tour in Rome including the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, the Rome Forum and also visited Naples, Pompeii, Florence, Fusina, Piazza San Marco and Venice.
Among the highlights of the tour to Malaysia were visits to the national monument Tugu Negara, Kuala Lampur bird park, Orchids and Hibiscus gardens, King’s Palace, a Night & Light Tour with night photo stop at the Petronas Twin Tower and Merdeka Square.
“A lot of investment, planning and effort goes in every year to organise these overseas tours to reward our valued dealers for their contribution to the company’s growth and to the development of the market,” said Joseph L. Pulikottil, Asian Paints Director/General Manager. “The destinations are selected to ensure a high-quality experience.”
Asian Paints’ top dealers have in previous years toured India, Thailand, Malaysia, Dubai, New Zealand, Australia, France, Spain, Egypt, Switzerland and Hong Kong. |
