New website by Jetwing Hotels 'in line with its soul' - Hiran Cooray

Sri Lankan leisure group Jetwing has re-launched the website for its hotel arm, jetwinghotels.com, with the goal of it being "in line with its soul" as well as, at the same time, "providing easy transactions and valuable travel information,” according to a statement by the group, which quoted Jetwing Hotels Chairman Hiran Cooray.

According to Jetwing; "Complementing the recently launched brand identity, Jetwing Hotels has re-designed their aging site, adding both beauty and function in a creative display. Building up on the new logo of a butterfly in flight, a myriad of bright colours, images and content enhance the site’s structure and is now referred to as a web experience, rather than just another online presence. When visiting www.jetwinghotels.com, one can certainly experience the difference of a company and a family that is warm, welcoming, and passionate about Sri Lanka and you. Staying true to the company’s identity as being one with true, traditional Sri Lankan hospitality, www.jetwinghotels.com delivers with each click an experience."

Noting the addition of new functionality in room reservations and inquiries, the website is also said to be "designed to take advantage of the growing power of Social Media Networks, with Jetwing Hotels having a strong following especially on Facebook and Twitter. New elements present on www.jetwinghotels.com include a blog by Jetwing Hotels itself, named Footprints in Paradise. The blog aims to provide an up to date view of the company’s progress and developments, as well as information required by international travelers: events, places and tips when travelling to Sri Lanka."
