Wesley College’s signature event, ‘Double Blue Ball’ will be back once again on Saturday the 29th of October at the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton.
Wesleyites of all ages will once again proudly greet each other at its annual dinner dance ‘All Night Long’.
‘If last year was simply the best this year is bound to be a Classic. Don’t forget cocktails will be hosted from 8.30pm until its time to open the doors of the Grand Ballroom for the glittering event of the year’ said Chairman of the dance committee Senaka Amaratunga.
The patient wait for 137 years is finally paying dividends with the swimming pool currently under construction. Now is the time for Wesleyites to show their solidarity by rallying round the band of Double Blue and pooling all their resources by attending and contributing towards this glittering signature event. It is a celebration of a lifetime.
Sounds by the fabulous Gypsies along with Sohan & The X’Periments are bound to send all revellers into a daze with their entrancing music. Counting many years of experience in the music industry these two top bands coming together is bound to make a massive impact with out of the world entertainment in dance music for all ages. Air tickets and prizes will be on offer along with surprises for all those who will be in attendance. Last year the Wesleyite of the Night and the lady of the night were chosen in a competition totally different from the normal concept.
A sumptuous spread of mouth watering dishes and desserts turned out by the chefs of Waters Edge will be arranged along the buffet tables in the foyer of the ballroom. Breakfast will be served in the wee hours of the morning to freshen your aching limbs before you get back home after dancing all night long. Hosting you for the evening will be another versatile old boy Diamond Deen.
The dance committee headed by Senaka Amaratunga for the second year is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that everyone one who attends the glittering event will leave with lingering memories.
