John Keells Hotels wins gold for the 3rd year at the annual reports competition

John Keells Hotels PLC won the Sector Gold (Hotels and Leisure) for the third consecutive year at the ICASL Annual Report Awards on 9th December. The award was received by Chandrika Perera, CFO Leisure Group of John Keells Holdings PLC from Dr. P B Jayasundera, Secretary to the Treasury, Ministry of Finance and Planning, the company said.

The Keells Hotels Annual Report 2010/11 under the theme ‘Distinctive’ reflected the company’s personality and the range of its offering. It also served to communicate the newly launched Pledges of the group – to get it right the first time; to care; to stand out; to empower and to be green.
“The report was prepared in line with the high standards of disclosures practiced by the John Keells Group in its reporting and featured the hotels within the Keells Hotels Group. The John Keells Hotels Group will continue to be the trendsetters in the hospitality industry,” the statement added.
