Founding Chairman and CEO of Six Senses Resorts and Spas, Sonu Shivdasani will be the featured speaker at the Global Compact Network Ceylon’s quarterly Sustainability Knowledge Hub, to be held on March 29 at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute.
The other panelists are Chairman of Sri Lanka Tourism, Nalaka Godahewa, President Tourist Hotels Association of Sri Lanka Anura Lokuhetty, Managing Director of Aitken Spence Hotels Malin Hapugoda and Chairman, Citrus Leisure Prema Cooray.
Mr Shivdasani’s Six Senses Group operates almost 26 resorts that are either open or under development, and 41 Six Senses Spas in the group’s own portfolio or managed by third-parties. He will also share his insights on the role that the Sri Lankan hospitality industry can play as a driver for ‘Sustainable Tourism’, the organisers said.
