Three students from Hejaaz International Scool set a new standard for Sri Lankan education when one of them Omer Kamil Marikar received the Gold Medal for the highest grade in the world for computer in class 4 and also the country topper award for computer in class 4 awarded by the University of New South Wales and Macmillan Publishers India at the International Assessment (IAS) for schools.
Salma Riza obtained the highest marks in Sri Lanka for class 10 computer and Fayaz Abdul Cader topped the list for class 10 Science in Sri Lanka.Apart from these three topnotchers an exceptional number of students from Hejaaz International School bagged remarkable rankings, which include five high distinctions, 58 distinctions and 184 credits, competing with thousands of students in 17 countries worldwide.
The IAS examinsation is a diagnostic assessment, which helps students and teachers to take corrective action and build their strength. The IAS is conducted in collaboration with Educational Assessment Australia (EAA). EAA is ISO 9000 certified.
