Ramindu Kumarasinghe and Rajitha Perera came out with splendid all-round performances to help Old Thurstanites Sports Club record a convincing 4-wicket win against SSC in Inter-Club Division III cricket match played at Maitland Place.
Batting first SSC were bundled out for 184 with M. Jayasickrema top scoring with 35. Kumarasinghe took three wickets for 35. In addition Kavindu Kulasekara and Perera claimed two wickets each. In return Kumarasinghe top scored with an unbeaten 61 and Perera remained 39 not out when both batsmen took Old Thurstanite to an easy win.
