Associated Motorways (AMW), marketer of renowned Castrol lubricants in Sri Lanka, recently opened its latest distribution centre in Anuradhapura.
This will ensure customers in the Northern Central Province get convenient access the Castrol's premium range of lubricating oils and greases developed with cutting-edge technology.
The new facility located at 259/04/5, Wanniyakulama Anuradhapura, was declared open by Peter Mackenzie, Managing Director – AMW, the company said in a media release.
For nearly two decades, Castrol has been servicing customers across the island, expanding its reach to continuously improve accessibility of the superior brand. The customer base from Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and suburban areas who will benefit from this initiative include a variety of groups from individual vehicles owners to SMEs such as garage owners, vehicle fleet owners, retail traders, and service stations. Prior to the launch of the Anuradhapura Centre, the closest distributor point for these customers was located in Kurunegala.
Moreover, expanding the Castrol footprint enables the company to service a wider market and fuels the quest to gain market share. The Anuradhapura centre also provides AMW and Castrol a strategic advantage as they are now able to cater to customers from both the Northern and Eastern provinces as well.
Elaborating on the new centre, Peter Mackenzie, Managing Director AMW said, “We are excited to expand our Castrol footprint in the North Central province.
