Browns Investments is acquiring a 90 per cent stake in both Udapussellawa Plantations and Hapugastenne Plantations at a combined price of Rs.1.9 billion from James Findlay Ltd, owner of the two plantations.
A transaction agreement to this effect was signed between the buyer (Browns) and seller (James Findlay) on Wednesday (December 22), Browns Investments informed the Colombo Stock Exchange on Thursday.
