Central Bank monetary policy announcement on Jan. 20
The Central Bank’s first Monetary Policy Review for 2022 will be announced on Thursday January 20 at 7.30 am, the banking regulator announced on Monday.
It is expected to be followed by a mid-day briefing to the media by Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal.
Banking sources said there is a likelihood of interest rates being increased in this month’s policy review.
