Eng. Vijitha Herath assumes duties as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance

Mr. Vijitha Herath

Renowned Engineering professional Eng. Vijitha Herath assumed duties on Tuesday as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance.

Prior to being appointed to this post, Mr. Herath was the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board from 2019 to 2021.

He is also Chairman of Sri Lanka Podujana Engineers Front , a leading engineering body with more 5000 members, according to a media release issued by Sri Lanka Insurance.

Having started his own successful construction company in Sri Lanka in 2012 Mr. Herath’s corporate experience spans across local and overseas organisations in the field of engineering.
