NDB Bank’s Islamic Banking arm, NDB Shareek, earned multiple accolades at the prestigious 9th Islamic Finance Forum of South Asia (IFFSA) Awards held recently in Colombo.
The bank clinched the Gold Award for 'Islamic Banking Window/Unit of the Year' and another Gold Award under the category 'Deal of the Year' for its work with a leading feed Manufacturer in Sri Lanka. In addition to these institutional awards, Fahmi Rahim was recognised with the Silver Award for 'Rising Star of the Year', the bank said in a media release.
This recognition comes during a momentous year for NDB Shareek, which recently celebrated its 10th year anniversary. Over the past decade, NDB Shareek has consistently delivered a diverse range of Shariah-compliant financial solutions and services, making a meaningful impact on individuals and businesses alike.
