NDB was felicitated with this much coveted award in the banking and financial services sector across the globe earlier this year, at Global Finance’s 29th edition of annual best bank awards. Mr. Seneviratne also participated in a video interview, hosted by Andrea Fiano, Editor of Global Finance, which focused on NDB’s excellence attributable to being recognized as the Best Bank and also prospects of the global and Sri Lankan economy in the next 12 months, an opportunity made available for only few winning banks.
With this award, NDB joins an elite club of banks such as DBS Singapore, ICBC China, ANZ New Zealand, Deutsche Bank Germany and Lloyds Bank UK, as winning banks from respective countries. With the latest win of Best Bank in Sri Lanka 2022 by Euromoney, NDB has secured the rare feat of winning top triple best bank wins from Global Finance USA, Euromoney and The Banker UK (2020) in quick succession.
