The festivities began on 29th November 2024 with the much-anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Cinnamon Red added a bold, urban twist to this beloved tradition, wowing guests with a dramatic performance as Santa Claus made a thrilling descent from the 26th floor, capturing the skyline of Colombo in a truly unique entrance. Waiting to greet him at the base was Mrs. Claus, adding her charm to this magical evening. The highlight of the ceremony was the unveiling of a dazzling 20-foot Christmas tree at the hotel’s entrance canopy. With a swipe of his iPad, General Manager Mr. Terrence Fernando lit up the tree and the building in a cascade of vibrant colours, symbolizing the start of a bold and joyous season.
