Sanasa General Insurance Company (SGIC), one of the country’s leading insurance providers, has opened a new 24-hour customer call centre in Nikawaratiya. The centre was officially launched on 24 May, 2025, at an event attended by SGIC’s Chief Executive Officer, Wasantha Perera, and other senior members of the management team.
The call centre will assist customers with both third-party and comprehensive vehicle insurance, handle renewals, guide them through the claims process, and provide general support. Staffed by a trained team, the centre is designed to ensure that queries are handled quickly and effectively, helping improve overall customer satisfaction.
Speaking at the launch, CEO Wasantha Perera said: “At SGIC, our customers are our top priority. This new call centre in Nikawaratiya is a key step in providing uninterrupted, reliable service, no matter where our customers are or what time they need help. We always work to make insurance support easier, faster, and more accessible to everyone.”
