Sampath Bank, in line with its commitment to supporting the nation’s senior citizens, has rolled out a record Rs. 185 million in medical benefits to Sampath Sanhinda Saver accountholders around the island.
This is the highest value of benefits offered in a single year by the bank since the launch of this programme in 2009, the bank said in a media release.
Coming at a time when the world is reeling from the economic impact of the global pandemic, the benefits offered are expected to be a welcome benefit to helping senior citizens with their medical expenses.
