National insurer Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) has entered into a strategic partnership with Senaro Motor Company Pvt Ltd. to provide a comprehensive motor insurance cover for customers purchasing a Senaro GN125 motorcycles.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchange took place recently at Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo in the presence of Mohan Somachandra -Director Operations, Roshana Waduge -Managing Director of Senaro Motor Company, Chandana L. Aluthgama – Chief Executive Officer SLI, and Lalith De Silva - Head of Distribution-General Insurance of Sri Lanka Insurance.
SLI said in a media release that the strategic tie-up between the two organisations intends to facilitate a first year free comprehensive motor insurance solution for all customers of the Senaro GN125 motorcycle. The GN125 Motorcycle is assembled in Sri Lanka with a local value addition of up to 35 per cent. As a responsible business and the national insurer, SLIC’s responsibility doesn’t end at protecting only the people if this country, but also contributing to the growth of the economy of the country by supporting to uplift the local industries.
Senaro Motor Company Pvt Ltd, established in 2002, is a wholly domestic automotive manufacturing and assembling business. For the Sri Lankan market, Senaro has unveiled the Senaro GN125, a Cargo three-wheeler truck and an ATV vehicle. The GN 125 is one of the first models in the Senaro motorcycle lineup that is now being introduced, and it is assembled in Sri Lanka. For a better customer experience and convenience, Senaro has strengthened its after-sales support through its widely dispersed service facilities and warranties.
