Anverally & Sons, one of the largest tea exporters in Sri Lanka, recently donated a consignment of tea to the people of Beirut following the explosion that killed more than 220 people in the Lebanese capital.
The consignment was handed over to the Sri Lanka Tea Board (SLTB) in response to a request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Jayampathy Molligoda, Chairman, Sri Lanka Tea Board said: “We commend Anverally Teas for its unhesitating and speedy response. These are difficult times for all businesses and we admire Anverally Teas for its generosity and commitment.”
