Sri Lanka’s monetary policy for July will be released by the Central Bank (CB) on Thursday, the first under Dr. Indrajith Coomaraswamy’s stewardship as Governor since taking over earlier this month.
The banking regulator on Tuesday that the monetary review policy will be announced at 6 pm on July 28 which is traditionally after a meeting of the Monetary Board. The last review was issued under the chairmanship of Arjuna Mahendran on June 24, days before his term of office ended on June 30. The CB has maintained interest rates unchanged for many months now. – Ends -
