For the 19th occasion, the Chefs Guild of Sri Lanka is organising the internationally famed Culinary Art Food Expo 2019 on October 21, 22 and 23 at the BMICH, Colombo.
A media briefing was held at Hotel Mandarina, Colombo on Wednesday to announce the event. Gerard Mendis, Chairman, Chefs Guild of Sri Lanka (CCSL) said that this Culinary Expo is South East Asia’s biggest Food and Hospitality Show and culinary challenge which is organised by CCSL together with the World Association of Chefs Societies and CDC Events and Travels, the professional exhibition organisers.
At this Culinary Expo there would be over 1,.600 chefs from resorts, hotels and restaurants from across the country and many countries of the region, in addition to 200 – 300 bartenders who are expected to take part in the competitions.
Over 25 foreign judges from Australia, Europe and Far East Asia will be involved in the judging. (Quintus)
