The launch of the book, “Story of the World: Geopolitical Alliances and Rivalries Set in Stone” written by Colonel Nalin Herath, Media Director of the Ministry of Defense took place at the Modara Rock House Garden Army Camp yesterday (12) under the patronage of State Minister of Defense Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon.
Secretary to the Minister of Defense,.Gen. (Rtd.) Kamal Gunaratne and Chief of Defense Staff Gen.Shavendra Silva graced the occasion as Special Guests. The book is published by M.D. Gunasena. The e-book was concurrently released to the official website of M.D. Gunasena.
“STORY OF THE WORLD”: Geopolitical Alliances and Rivalries Set in Stone” that contains 725 pages is a follow-up to the author’s previous book “Globe in a Nutshell” published in 2017.
