The lecture is open to all.
It’s the season to enjoy some Christmas music and time for the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka’s (SOSL) much anticipated Christmas concert on December 13 and15 at the Bishop's College Auditorium.Dinushka Jayawickreme and Shehara Liyanage (of Soul Sounds Fame) are the soloists while another highlight will be Sidath Nallaperuma’s original composition "Christmas Rush", which will also be performed at this concert.
Two well-known names in design and architecture from India and Sri Lanka are coming together for a rare exhibition of furniture. From December 3 to May 31, 2025, on Wednesdays and Sundays, the Bawa Space at 42/1, Horton Place, Colombo 7 will host Design in the Moment: Furniture by the Geoffrey Bawa Practice, a collaborative exhibition with India-based furniture brand Phantom Hands. Curated by Chairperson of the Geoffrey Bawa Trust Channa Daswatte andco-founder of Phantom Hands Aparna Rao, the exhibition features re-editions of furniture, prototypes, and material samples as part of the PhantomHands Geoffrey Bawa Collection.
