The Bangladeshi community in Sri Lanka has organized Bangladesh Film Festival in Sri Lanka from March 23-25, a release from the organisers said. The festival will showcase popular films from recent years at the National Film Corporation Hall in Colombo everyday from 3:30pm.
Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s “Doob” will open Bangladesh Film Festival. The festival will close with another one of Farooki’s films – “Television” and Rubaiyat Hossain’s film “Under Construction.”
Other films at the festival include Morshedul Islam’s “Anil Bagchir Ekdin,” Fakhrul Arefin’s “Bhuban Majhi,” and Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s “Aynabaji.”
