The National New Year celebrations of the Sri Lanka Army were held yesterday (April 9) at the Panagoda Army Cantonment grounds today under the aegis of Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake and Army Chief of Staff Major General Shavendra Silva.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
