Sri Lankan Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is slated to to play cyclist Deborah Herold in an upcoming biopic, the Mumbai Mirror reported.
The actress jumps on the sportsbiopic bandwagon with a project that is expected to kick off next year.
Mirror had earlier reported (September 4) that after Remo D’Souza’s action thriller Race 3 in which she was paired opposite Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez gave her nod to the Hindi remake of the 2016 Kannada hit Kirik Party, which also features Kartik Aaryan.
Now, the Mumbai Mirror reports that Ms Fernandez is gearing up to play Deborah Herold in a biopic on the Indian cyclist.
“Jacqueline really liked the script and has verbally given her nod to the project. It’s an inspiring story and she is looking forward to prep which will include some arduous training. The film is expected to roll out next year,” the source added.
