A children’s contest will be organized by the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) on November 17 in commemoration of Children’s Day which falls on November 14 in India.
The contest will be held at 16/2 Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07 from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
The contest is open for children born on or after January 1, 2003 and will be held under three categories namely writing, painting and drawing.
The entries of the contest will then be forwarded to New Delhi for the Shankar’s International Children’s Competition 2019, the SVCC noted in a press release.
