Former Foreign Affairs Minister Ravi Karunanayake resigned from his Ministerial post on August 10 and was replaced by the one time Law and Order Minister Tilak Marapana. Mr Marapan incidentally resigned as Law and Order Minister in 2015 over certain statements in Parliament regarding the Avant Garde armoury.
In light of such events is there a possibility of Mr. Karunanayake being re-appointed as a Minister in the near future.
