10 Uva Wellassa uni students arrested for alleged ragging incident
Ten students of the Uva Wellassa university have been arrested over an alleged ragging incident that had taken place last week, Police said.
The suspects, identified as Third Year students had been arrested following a complaint stating that they had allegedly assaulted four Second Year students at the university.
Police said that these suspects had been previously been warned and released over their alleged involvement in another ragging incident on May 31.
Further investigations are underway.
