An 18-hour water cut has been imposed in the Kelaniya and Gampaha areas starting from 9 am tomorrow (Sept 10), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

The areas which would be affected due to the water cut are as follows :
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
