Another 44 COVID-19 patients have been identified so far today (27), Director General of Health Services Dr Anil Jasinghe stated.
All 44 patients identified today are navy personnel.
The latest patients bring the overall number of COVID-19 patients in the country to 567.
Dr Jasinghe also said the number of those to have been discharged from hospital after having completely recovered from the disease has also risen to 126.
