Afternoon showers or thundershowers are predicted for parts of Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western Provinces as well as Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara Districts today (5), the Department of Meteorology said.
A few showers are possible in Eastern and Uva Provinces along with Polonnaruwa and Matale Districts.
Anuradhapura and Hambantota Districts will see occasional rains.
