Ali Sabry met Bangladesh PM

News

Minister Ali Sabry had discussions with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina regarding tourism and international trade between the two countries at her official residence in Dhaka, Bangladesh yesterday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The Prime Minister encouraged acquiring more traction for Bangladesh vessels through the port of Colombo and invited further investments from Sri Lanka” states the Ministry of Foriegn Affairs.

Minister Ali Sabry invited Bangladesh tourists and investors to explore Sri Lanka, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Further, Minister Ali Sabry is currently in Dhaka to attend meetings as the Vice-Chair of IORA (Indian Ocean Rim Association), at the 22^nd meeting of the council of ministers, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
