Another one million Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccines were brought to the Katunayake International Airport by a SriLankan Airlines flight this morning (2), SriLankan Airlines Media Manager Deepal Perera said.
The consignment was brought to Katunayake Airport at 4.30 am on SriLankan flight UL-869 from Beijing, China.
The stock of vaccines was then stored at the Katunayake Airport Import Cargo Division refrigerator and later transported by the Sri Lanka Pharmaceuticals Corporation to its Central Warehousing Complex in Colombo by refrigerated lorries.
