Another shooting, over 25 killed this year
A gunman shot dead one person and injured another at a party in Hirana, Panadura last night raising the death toll in shooting incidents this year.
A 35 year old person was killed in the incident.
But, residents said they believe the target was a different person who was also attending the party.
The gunman had fled on a motorcycle.
So far 26 persons have been killed and among them was SLPP political activist Dan Priyasad who was shot dead last week.
