The Parliamentary Communications Department declared that applications have been invited for the position of Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
According to a statement, applications are being accepted in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023.
To apply for this, eligible individuals must follow the guidelines provided on the Parliament's official website, www.parliament.lk, under the “Quick Links” section, under the heading “Appointment of the Director General to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.”
On or before March 4, 2024, the properly filled-out applications should be delivered by registered mail to the Secretary General of the Constitutional Council, Constitutional Council-Office, Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, or by email to constitutionalcouncil@parliament.lk.
Additionally, the statement stated that the subject line of the email or the upper left corner of the envelope should include the phrase “Appointment of Director General of Bribery or Corruption Allegations Investigation Commission.”
It also stated that the newspaper advertisements for this will run on February 11 and 12 in the national newspapers.
