Central Bank (CBSL) Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal has resigned from his post.
Mr Cabraal announced his resignation on Twitter a short while ago.
In his tweet, Mr Cabraal stated that in the context of all Cabinet Ministers resigning from their posts, he has submitted his resignation as CBSL Governor to the President.
