Construction of CEB Hq put on hold

News

Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara has instructed to put on hold the ongoing construction work of the CEB new headquarters.

The directive was given at a meeting with the AGMs & DGMs of CEB. Islandwide DGMs connected online.

Steps taken to reduce expenses and further steps that could be taken to reduce the costs at CEB were also discussed.
