Leader of Peoples’ Liberation Front (JVP) Anura Kumara Dissanayake today tabled the much controversial agreement to construct an LNG plant at Kerawalapitiya revealing that the government entered into an agreement with another company other than US-based company called New Fortress Energy for which Cabinet granted approval.

Among the contents in the agreement also include a clause indicating that the agreement should be kept secret for two years from the public knowledge.
JVP leader accused both Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa and Power Minister Gamini Lokuge failed to table the agreement in past.
