Debate on the 22nd Amendment begins
The debate on the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution commenced in Parliament a short while ago.
Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe commenced the debate.
The two-day debate will continue all day today and tomorrow.
The bill requires a two-thirds Parliamentary majority to pass.
