Showers or thundershowers are predicted for certain places in Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces along with Galle and Matara Districts today (25) after 2:00 pm, the Department of Meteorology said.
Scattered showers are expected in Northern, Eastern, and Uva Provinces.
North-central Province will also see a few showers.
Occasional high winds of 30-40 KMPH are foreseen in North-central Province and on eastern slopes of central hills.
Parts of Sabaragamuwa, Central and Western Provinces besides Galle and Matara Districts will have misty mornings.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
