Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces and in Mannar, Galle and Matara districts, the Met Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will also occur at times in Uva province and in Batticaloa, Ampara and Hambantota districts.
Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
