The new political alliance – ‘Sarwajana Balaya’ led by MP Wimal Weerwansa will launch their first rally from Nugegoda tomorrow (June 18) claiming they will try to achieve the hopes of the 6.9 million who voted Gotabaya Rajapaksa into power.
A press conference was addressed by Jathika Nidahas Peramunia leader MP Weerawana, the Leader of the Mavubima Janatha Party Dilith Jayaweera, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya Leder MP Udaya Gammanpila, Yuuthukama group leader MP Gevinudu Kumaratunga, MP Channa Jayasumana, General Secretary Communist Party Dr G.Weerasinghe and Democratic Left Front Deputy Secretary D.V. Thilakasiri.
