Four persons involved in robbing a stock of Amonia Nitrate which could be used to produce explosives have been arrested by the Kelaniya Crimes division.
An Air Force petty officer and a naval person are among the four arrested.
So far 70 kilograms of Amonia Nitrate have been detected by the police. The Nitrate stock was meant to be issued for metal quarry work.
The Kelaniya Crimes division is carrying out the inquiry.
